Healthy Eating

Avoid refined foods (white sugar, white rice, oils, white flour etc.)
Get your fats from natural sources and avoid oils, even cold pressed.
Avoid processed foods.
Never stay hungry. Eat regularly and to satiety.
Include lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, lentils and grains in your diet.
Consume whole foods wherever possible. (Fruits and veggies without peeling; lentils and grain with skin e.g., red/brown rice.)
Eat baked and steamed instead of fried or sautéed.
Regular check-up of Vitamin D3 and B12 levels and taking appropriate supplements is very important.
Getting sufficient exercise and adequate sunlight is also important.
Plan meals to include lots of colour in each meal. (No artificial colours!)
